About the Training Seminar
Many things can go wrong when managing a security project and, as a security project manager, you have to know how to adapt to real-life security environments. You need to understand the intricacies of projects and how they apply in the business world—not just the equipment world. SIA’s Security Project Management Training Seminar can help you. The SIA Security Project Management Training Seminar gives security project managers the tools to execute projects efficiently and mitigate the risks for your clients and company. This 2.5-day, instructor-led course offers newer and seasoned project managers clear perspective on the importance of their role to project stakeholders and identifies risks that could hinder project success. Learn to manage activities within proper timeframes, assess the role of the security project manager in project profitability, apply the five phases of a security project relate to the project as a whole, and review the six domains of the Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM®) Exam blueprint.
As Part of the Training, Attendees Will Receive
The SIA Security Project Management Body of Knowledge Guidebook, a common framework of security terms and principles that allows security project managers to discuss, debate and resolve matters pertaining to the profession with a common understanding. The guidebook helps security project managers understand their role and describes some of the activities needed to maximize the reward to company, while reducing project risk.
SIA Security Project Management Resource Guide, a compendium of checklists, templates and other materials to help prepare for success on future projects. **Please note that this training seminar is NOT a CSPM® Certification review course.
