SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Security Industry Association (SIA) will honor Anthony Incorvati, manager of business development for critical infrastructure and transportation at Axis Communications, with the SIA Statesman Award during the SIA Policy Leadership Dinner on June 16, 2016, SIA announced today.

Established in 2006, the Statesman Award is an annual award presented by SIA to an individual (or individuals) who makes an extraordinary contribution of professional time, leadership and resources to position SIA to address the public policy challenges impacting the physical security industry.

“Anthony Incorvati has been a key leader at the Security Industry Association recently as chair of our SIA Transportation Policy Working Group. In this capacity and others, Anthony has steered advocacy efforts for the security industry with terrific results,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “His leadership, dedication and knowledge have made a difference for the security industry and our public policy initiatives. Anthony is among the best contributors to the industry among a group of very strong contributors at Axis Communications.”

“Being presented with The Statesman Award is a great honor and am certainly proud to represent the Security Industry Association in its public policy initiatives. Equal credit is certainly due to SIA’s exceptional members and staff serving as part of the Transportation Policy Working Group and Government Relations Committee. SIA is a great association and voice for the security industry, and am thankful that our work is being recognized,” said Mr. Incorvati.

“We have prioritized providing policymakers with subject matter expertise, from presenting before the Federal Rail Administration Railroad Safety Advisory Committee (RSAC) to providing input to the U.S. Coast Guard on cruise ship security requirements. We highly value relationships and continued collaboration on safety and security issues with allied associations such as American Public Transit Association and American Association of Port Authorities,” he added.

SIA will recognize Mr. Incorvati at the SIA Policy Leadership Awards Dinner, which immediately follows the first full day of the SIA Government Summit at the Lincoln Restaurant (1110 Vermont Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.) on June 16, 2016, in Washington, D.C.
