Common supply chain challenges can vary widely within different industries, and from one business to the next. It is a complex domain, linking a logistical mesh of operations, assets, resources and procedures with the goal of competently and consistently delivering or receiving products and services. There are diverse stakeholders with various points of view who also happen to share a set of common and lofty expectations. Among those are responsiveness, efficiency, certainty and resilience. Fulfilling these demands is not simple, and to make matters more complicated, security requirements have become a new and perplexing wrinkle.
